Narrative for Local Government – ahead of the LGComms conference

Published by Tony Quinlan on

Tomorrow, I (Tony) am running a workshop on narrative in Leeds at the LGComms conference – looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and returning to a theme that I haven’t touched on in a few years.  And in preparing today, I came across this blogpost from five years ago – which while relevant to tomorrow’s conversation probably won’t fit into the overall piece.

If you’re looking to get ahead of the session, this would be a good place to start. The short version: if you’re communicating, use small stories of people’s experience, don’t try and tell a grand story about your organisation.

For the long version, you’ll need to be in the room or part of a much longer conversation.  Get in touch!
